So, we had a doctor's appointment on Wednesday. The baby is as cute as ever beating Mom up. We did check my placenta, but sadly it has not budged. The plan is to do an amniocentesis at 36 weeks. If his lungs are developed at that time we will do a c-sec(end of Feb). If his lungs are not developed we will do another amniocentesis at 37 weeks. If they are developed at that time then we will do the c-sec, but if not, I will remain in the hospital for the next 2 weeks until week 39 to monitor contractions and possible bleeding. Then the c-sec will be done at 39 weeks. Personally I hope he is ready at 36 weeks. I don't really like the idea of a foot long needle going towards my little boy once let alone twice, and the hospital stay doesn't sound very pleasant either.
He has been having fun playing in my ribs making it difficult to breath. But, though it is hard to breath I like the reassurance that he is okay.
Nate has FINALLY come up with a "temporary" name, Conner Alexander. If we think of something better this will obviously change. I love Conner Alexander, I have even started calling him by this. I think he likes it too:)

So, more complications. Now I have been told I have gestational diabetes. I did not start the pregnancy overweight, nor have I gained too much weight. So, I guess I am one of those girls whose bodies just can't handle the extra weight gain so fast. But, once you are told you have to eat less carbs and drink more water all you want is spaghetti and cereal with a big glass of chocolate milk:)
I think I have figured out where his butt is. He likes to squirm that little thing in the center of the bottom of my rib cage...I LOVE it!
My friend Heather had her baby. I saw the pictures, he is so adorable! It makes me even more excited for my little one to be here.

Off to another doctor's appointment today. We will be doing an ultrasound and a fasting blood test. Watch out everybody from Weed to Sacramento, crazy, starving pregnant lady is on the loose. I have to fast until 4 PM for the blood glucose tolerance test. I was up early today and ate two eggs, three pieces of bacon, a piece of toast, a banana, and a large glass of orange juice. It was delicious, hopefully that will make me not too crazy later:)
I am a little nervous about the ultrasound. It's a transvaginal ultrasound, so I am nervous about something going up there when they have strictly told me nothing CAN go up there. And I am nervous about the results, obviously we are hoping to get good news.
I have started playing music every night for the baby. My Mom gave us a music box with a monkey hanging from a tree for a baby shower gift...it's super cute. The baby loves it too, I swear he starts dancing in there every time I play it for him.
